Word has it that the 8GB Apple iPhone 3GS will be available via AT&T network just before Christmas for $99. A cheaper iPhone 3GS can replace the current $99 8GB iPhone 3G, offering potential buyers a faster processor, a bigger RAM, a digital compass and a better 3.2-megapixel camera capable of video recording.
