Here is good news for all Samsung i5700 Galaxy Spica owners because Samsung has officially released the Android 2.1 update for the handset. This update will initially be released in Germany, but will be released gradually elsewhere. As a successor to the previously released Jet handset, the Samsung Jet Ultra comes equipped with the same 800MHz processor as its older brother. The phone features a 3.1-inch AMOLED display with a 5-megapixel camera, various bundled social networking apps, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and a 2GB of onboard storage. The handset also has a microSD storage for storage expansion of up to 16GB.
Samsung is about to launch another entry-level touchscreen phone in the form of the S3370. Specs-wise, the handset will feature a 2.8-inch touchscreen display, Samsung’s TouchWiz UI, a photo camera on the back, 3G and Bluetooth connectivity. The Samsung S3370 will be sold for around 99 Euro, however, there’s no word on release date yet.
Sprint has recently launched another clamshell phone from Motorola namely the i890. The handset sports a 2.2-inch 240 x 320 internal display, an external display, a 2MP camera, a microSD card slot, a music player, Push to Talk, Nextel Direct Connect, Group Connect, email, a web browser, GPS and stereo Bluetooth connectivity. The Motorola i890 is sold for $129.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
AT&T will release the Samsung Strive on March 21st, 2010. Available in black/silver and purple/charcoal, the Samsung Strike boasts a full vertical sliding QWERTY keyboard, a 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0, e-mail support and a bunch of AT&T services including the newly announced group messaging service, AT&T Mobile Share and AT&T Address Book.
Samsung’s upcoming handset, the Sunburst, will be released in the US on March 21st, 2010 via AT&T. The Samsung Sunburst is an all-touch phone sporting a 3-inch resistive touchscreen with a resolution of 240 x 400 pixels.

The D900 will be distributed to China Telecom very soon, however, there’s no word on pricing yet
