Motorola has officially announced that the Motorola BackFlip will be coming to AT&T on March 7th, 2010. The handset will be sold for $99.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. As a reminder, the BackFlip offers a 3.1-inch HVGA touchscreen display, a 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash, a full QWERTY keyboard, MotoBlur with social networking integration (Facebook, MySpace, Twitter), GPS, WiFi, a 3.5mm headset jack, a 1,500 mAh battery, Android 1.5 OS and supports HSDPA connectivity
Verizon has recently confirmed the availability of its new Motorola Droid . The Google Android 2.0-powered phone will be released on November 6th, 2009 for $199 with a new two-year customer agreement after a $100 mail-in rebate. In case you didn’t know, the Droid uses a Cortex A8 processor with a 16GB of memory, a 3.7-inch LCD display, a 5MP shooter, Bluetooth, and a QWERTY keyboard
