Nokia will launch an upgraded version of the Nokia E72 for the Chinese market.
Currently available in Brazil and China, Dell’s latest Android-based smartphone ‘ Mini 3 ‘ is finally making its way to the US via AT&T. To refresh your memory, the Mini 3 is equipped with a 3.5-inch 640 x 360 widescreen display, a 3-megapixel autofocus camera with flash, a microSD card slot, GPS, Bluetooth, a miniUSB port and supports quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity.

Powered by a 800MHz processor, the handset sports a 3.2-inch 320 x 480 AMOLED resistive touchscreen display, a 3.2MP camera with LED flash and auto focus, a 512MB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), GPS, WiFi/WAPI, Bluetooth, a USB 2.0 port, a 1440mAh battery and supports CDMA2000 EVDO Rev. A connectivity.
Motorola has recently announced three new Android-powered handsets for China, the largest market in the world. The first one is the Motorola XT701 (Sholes Tablet) that should be available via China Unicom
Motorola will release their Android-powered Motorola MT710 in China on December 28th, 2009 as part of their OPhone Android lineup. This smartphone is actually a keyboard-less variant of Verizon’s Motorola DROID that features a 5-megapixel camera, a large 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display, WiFi networks (newly provisioned under China’s new WiFi protocol), and pulls down data at 3G speeds. The MT710 will work on the China Mobile’s TD-SCDMA network.
South Korea’s KT and Samsung have officially announced the availability of the Samsung M8400 WiBro handset which supports WiFi, WCDMA and South Korea’s homegrown WiMAX tech WiBro. The handset also features a 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, a 5-megapixel camera, a 800 MHz processor, Windows Mobile OS, access to KT’s SHOW App Store, access to 10,000 hotspots for a year, and a microSD slot
Nokia is gearing up to launch another entry-level candybar ‘Nokia 5132 XpressMusic’ for the Asian market which will be available via China Mobile. Specs-wise, this new handset will offer a 2-inch QVGA display, a 2MP camera with video recording, an advanced music player, MMS, a microSD card slot (1GB card is included in the box) and Bluetooth connectivity.

Samsung Mobile has officially announced the upcoming availability of Samsung Omnia II for Verizon Wireless. The handset will be available beginning on December 2nd for $199.99 with a 2-year contract agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate. Samsung is set to introduce another one of its slider phone for the Chinese market. Dubbed as the S359, this music phone offers a 2-inch display with 65k colors, a VGA camera, a microSD card slot (up to 8GB), a music player, an FM radio, WAP browser v2.0, 500 SMS storing capacity and works on CDMA 1X 800MHz band. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet

The almighty FCC has recently approved the LG KF700 that will support AT&T bands, but it doesn’t mean that this handset will officially become an AT&T phone. For your info, the LG KF700 features a sliding phone keypad, a WQVGA (240×400 pixels) display screen, and a standard numeric keypad. No info on pricing or availability so far
