LG today unveiled another one of its upcoming touchscreen phone called the LG Cookie Plus GS500. This 3G-capable handset features a full touchscreen display, a 3MP camera, an animated UI with widgets, LG’s Editable Screenshot MMS, an FM tuner and supports direct access to social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.
Nissan and NTT DoCoMo has collaborated to use Nissan’s Scratch Shield for NTT DoCoMo’s mobile phones to be introduced in Japan. FYI, the Scratch Shield is actually the world’s first in paint technology that was commercially introduced in December, 2005. This technology was developed in collaboration with University of Tokyo and Advanced Softmaterials Inc.
The iNo CP09 is a new GSM cell phone for kids and elderly that features only a basic calculator-like screen with a large font display, large buttons, an FM radio, a torch light, a headphone jack, and a text messaging. There is also a SOS button that is useful in an emergency situation. The phone can send a text alarm to a configured number and calls that number
Here’s a look at another upcoming Windows XP phone from a Chinese handset maker iTG. Dubbed as the xpPhone, this smartphone boasts a 4.8-inch 800 x 480 touchscreen display, an AMD Super Mobile CPU, a 512MB/1GB RAM, an optional 8GB SSD or 120GB HDD, a 1.3MP camera, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, Windows XP OS and supports both GSM and CDMA connectivity. Sadly, there’s no word on pricing and availability yet.
