Nokia has finally launched the Nokia E72 smartphone (Unlocked) in the US market for $469 before tax and shipping. The Nokia E72 is actually the successor of Nokia’s most successful full QWERTY keyboard device, the Nokia E71. The new smartphone comes equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, a QWERTY keypad, Nokia’s Navi Key setup and HSPA connectivity.
Word has it that Nokia is working on a 12MP camera phone dubbed as Nokia N87 12MP. The slider phone will feature a 3.2-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touchscreen display, a 16GB of internal memory, a 600MHz processor and a superb 12MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics plus dual LED and Xenon flashes
Folks in the US will receive the Nokia N900 starting next week. It is the first Nokia device based upon the TI OMAP3 microprocessor with ARM Cortex-A8 core. The Maemo 5-powered smartphone supports Quad-band GSM and 3G UMTS connectivity and features a 5MP camera, a portable media player, and a mobile Internet device with email and web browsing.
The FCC has approved the Sony Ericsson Yari, which is also known as the Sony Ericsson U100a. It is a slider phone that comes with gesture controls which apparently will make your games a whole lot more fun. Kim Yeon-hak, KT Group’s CFO, has confirmed the availability of the highly anticipated smartphone in Korea. Sadly, there is no info on pricing or release date so far.
