Nokia has officially confirmed the first phone from the Cseries family namely the Nokia C5 candybar . The phone allows you to see Facebook status updates from the phonebook, and it also provides easy access to other social networking sites like MySpace. The LG Arena Max LU9400 has been officially introduced in Korea via LG Telecom, as LG Maxx LG9400. It is the first phone to be launched in South Korea with a Snapdragon CPU at 1GHz. The LG Maxx features a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen display, a finger-touch mouse, GPS, WiFi, mobile TV (T-DMB), LG’s S-Class 3D UI, DivX support, HD video and a 5MP camera.

Garmin and Asus has joined together to release a new smartphone in the form of the Android-powered A50. The handset boasts a 3.5-inch HVGA resolution capacitive touchscreen display with a 3-megapixel Auto Focus camera, and a 4GB of storage space that is upgradable via a microSD memory card slot. What makes the Garmin Asus A50 more special is that it supports a finger-friendly user interface and Garmin’s pre-loaded turn-by-turn navigation.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz (or also known as the Sony Ericsson Kurara U5) has been approved by the FCC and will be known as the Sony Ericsson Vivaz U5a. The phone supports the UMTS II and V bands (1900MHz and 850MHz), which means those who are subscribing to AT&T and Rogers are able to use the Vivaz U5a on their 3G networks
Verizon Wireless will launch the Motorola Devour Android-powered handset. Too bad, Verizon hasn’t confirmed a price yet, but we’re assuming that the Devour will be cheaper than the Droid because it has a smaller screen and a slower processor.
