Orange UK Launching The HTC Hero Tomorrow

The highly anticipated HTC Hero that we mentioned back in June will soon make its way to Orange UK starting tomorrow, July 22. In case you missed it, here’s a brief reminder, the HTC Hero is the company’s third Android handset that sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with 320 x 480 resolution, a 5MP autofocus camera, HTC’s latest Sense UI, an accelerometer sensor, GPS, WiFi and supports HSDPA connectivity. It will be available in an exclusive graphite color version for free on select plans.

Modulation Index has recently announced that their Tuner2 Hi-Fi Radio app is the first ever iPhone application to natively support the true RTMP protocol for streaming audio via Adobe Flash Media Server. Sure, we’ve seen quite a few “world’s first” announcements, but apparently Modulation Index’s onto something. As a result of their solution, radio stations can use a single standard streaming format to serve MPEG-4 HE AAC v2 audio to listeners on Windows, Mac, and Apple ( NSDQ: AAPL ) iPhone.
