Samsung Monte Is Now Official

Samsung has finally and officially announced the Monte (S5620). The phone features a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen LCD with 16:9 aspect ratio, a 3.2MP camera with face recognition, a smile shot, a GPS with geotag, Wi-Fi, 3G, a 3.5mm audio jack, Smart Unlock, Exchange ActiveSync, and Google Sync. Samsung will showcase the device at MWC 2010 next week. [Engadget]

Philips has rolled out their latest dual SIM phone in Russia namely the Xenium X100. This candybar phone offers a 1.8-inch 128 x 160 TFT display, dual SIM card slots, a microSD card slot, an MP3 player, an FM radio, a WAP browser, a built-in flashlight and a 1,150 mAh Lithium-ion battery that provides up to 7.5 in talk-time or up to one month in stand-by mode.
