AT&T has already told you that the Sony Ericsson C905a and W518a would go on sale in July 2009. The carrier looks to have kept its promise. These two handsets are now available for purchase. The C905a 8MP camera phone is priced at $179.99 after rebate and two-year agreement, meanwhile the W518a Walkman phone goes for $49.99 under the same conditions. [AT&T]

Word has it that the zany modular phone platform known as Modu will be released on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009 for around $130. The phone will only be sold to select customers through their website
According to some sources, HTC is working on a new smartphone called the HTC Leo, which is likely to be some sort of a clamshell phone. It’s said that the phone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, an internal WVGA (480 x 800) display with 16:9 aspect ratio, an external QVGA display and supports Open GL 2.0.
